Where are your products manufactured?
All our products are handmade and made to order in England.
Do you offer a Trade Discount?
Yes, please fill out the enquiry form with your company details and the products you wish to purchase. We will reply with a code, which must be entered into the Professional ID Code field at the Shopping Cart stage, to apply the relevant discount.
I am a customer living in the Channel Islands, how do I avoid paying VAT?
Customers from the Channel Islands are exempt from VAT. By selecting Channel Islands at checkout, the VAT will be removed from your order.
Can I add to an order I have already placed?
Yes, please order additional products required and the second delivery charge will be refunded, if the combined delivery charge is more than it should be for the whole order.
I wish to cancel my order, how do I do this?
Customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 working days. If the order has already been processed it may not be possible to stop the order from being dispatched. If we can, we will stop the order from being sent. If it is too late and the order has already been dispatched, customers are required to return the product in the same condition that it was received in. The product condition must be checked before arranging for the item to be sent back. See returns information

Can I order spare parts?
Yes, some of the more commonly requested parts are available to order online and can be found in the Spare Parts, Accessories & Light Bulbs category. For any other parts, please email the head office on firstname.lastname@example.org who will be able to assist you in supplying the required part. Please note, that spare parts are only intended for the replacement of damaged parts from Original BTC and Davey Lighting products and are not for sale to those wishing to assemble them with other manufacturers components/products. Braided cable is only sold as part of an Original BTC product and is not sold separately (whole cable assemblies may be purchased in the event a lampholder becomes damaged, or a longer length of cable is required for a pendant).
Do you supply bulbs with your fixtures?
Lamps are not supplied with the majority of our fixtures - there are a few that have integral bulbs.
Do you ever have Sales?
All products are made to order and therefore not subject to discounting at any point during the year as no stock is held. Original BTC and Davey Lighting pride themselves on producing timeless products.
Where can I see your lights?
There are three showrooms, where the whole range can be seen. Our US showroom is located in New York, 56 Greene Street. The showroom is open Monday – Saturday 10am – 6pm. If there is a specific product you wish to see, we advise calling ahead to confirm we have on display, +1 646 759 9007. Our London showroom can be found in The Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour and is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5.30pm. If there is a specific product you wish to see, we advise calling ahead to confirm we have it on display: 0207 351 2130. We also have a showroom in Paris, which is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 7pm. If you are unable to reach these locations, please email our sales address and we will try to identify a local stockist where you can view our lights.
What is your returns policy?
If a customer would like to return a product, we need to be notified within 14 days of receipt of the product, the customer must then return the product within a further 14 days.
Any items which have been personalised cannot be returned as they are deemed bespoke pieces
Product to be returned must be sent back in the same condition that they were received in and should not have been installed. They should be sent back to our Head Office address by a tracked/signed for courier service and must be well packed to ensure safe delivery. We are unable to accept items that are not returned in their original state.
In order to arrange a return, customers must fill in the form in the link below. This will be processed and we will respond within 48 hours. On confirmation customers will be emailed a label to stick on the box.
Please note that returns will not be accepted unless they have registered in this way with the label stuck to the outside of the box.
Please note that customers are responsible for the costs of returning their products and to avoid any damage during transport, we advise that customers pack returns carefully.
Where can I find dimensions and technical information for your products?
There is a spec sheet, showing drawings with dimensions and technical information which may be downloaded from each product listing. Look for the Specification Sheet tab underneath Product Information, on the product page.
Can I change the color of the braided CABLE supplied with my Original BTC light fittings?
The majority of Original BTC products are supplied with Original BTC's signature cotton-braided cable. Each cable has been designed to complement the design and finish of each product. If you wish, it is possible to request a different color from our range of signature braids. This should be specified in the comments box after entering your address when placing your order, and will cost an additional $39.
Can I specify the length of the CABLE supplied on my pendant light fitting?
We can supply fittings with extra cable as required. As standard, the majority of our pendant light fittings are supplied with 1.5m of cable. If you require more, please request this by entering the amount of additional cable required in the comments box beneath the address field at the order stage. Extra cable is charged at $16.20 per meter for braided cable and will be invoiced after your order is received.
If the standard length of cable supplied (Pendants: 1.5m) is too much, the cable can be shortened on installation by your electrician.
